What is a Combined Ownership Query?
A Combined Ownership Query can return items from different Ownerships for a single User. For example, you can find all the items that someone is Administrator for, Manager for and Assigned to.
The key factor that sets the Combined Ownership filter apart from the other Ownership filters, is the ability to show results only for the logged-in User. This means that every User will see a different set of results.
How do I use Combined Ownership Queries?
Using the Logged in User option, you can create one or two Queries for Portals that will work across the entire organisation, where using the other Ownership Queries would necessitate at least one Query and Portal for every User of Pentana Risk, and means that creating a "My items" Portal will take a few minutes (rather than a few hours) to set up for your Users.
Select the image below for a worked example of a 'My Actions DO NOT DELETE' Portal, located on the Public Training site. Note that you'll need to log in to see the Portal.
If you do not have the login details for the Public Training site please contact the Pentana Risk Support team.
